We still haven’t seen a cooler way to find a roommate! Must see how Hugh Podmore broke the Internet and is still on it.
So it all started about two years ago when a twenty-something guy named Hugh Podmore decided to move to Toronto from downtown Montreal. His uber creative efforts in looking for a roommate caused a stir on the Internet and we just couldn’t stop ourselves from reaching out for tissues (in a good way).

For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, here’s how it all started.

Taking a series of pictures with a whiteboard and a camera, Hugh Podmore created and shared a photo album on image-sharing website Imgur stating his qualities and what he is looking for in a roommate.

Here’s what the album named ‘I WANT TO LIVE IN YOUR HOUSE! (But not in a weird way)’ looked like.

Impressive, innit?!

With over one million views on the album, Podmore was extremely overwhelmed to say the least and for the same reason, what followed was another set of pictures from him.

There’s no denying that women are obsessed with the devil that lives in details and are specialists in stressing over them. Not just time, they put a of lot effort and spend a lot of money to take care of their looks. Sometimes, despite of all our hard work our efforts go unnoticed. Although men really appreciate (or try to appreciate) the hard work we put into these details, they actually don’t pay attention to most of the things we obsess about. 1) The fact that you sweat

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella wipes hands immediately after meeting PM Narendra Modi! Not cool!

Yes, you read it right. Apparently the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was captured wiping his hands right after shaking them with our beloved PM Narendra Modi! As true Indians, we are a bit outraged but hold on; let’s just give the guy some benefit of doubt, maybe… just MAYBE he’s a germaphobe and does that every time he shakes hands with people around?

But the question is how often do you get to shake your hands with the Prime Minister of a nation that represents the population of more than a billion?

Fresh outta college? We know how it feels. The whole energy and excitement of getting your first job is out of this world.

The best part about working for the first time in life is getting that paycheck at the end of every month. Who wouldn’t want that? But to excel in your career (as your first job helps you shape it) there are a few things one should always follow to keep everyone happy! 1. Respect your colleagues/seniors. Remember, they’re your seniors for a reason. Try respecting the work hierarchy and learn from it. Trolling your bosses ain’t cool bruh!

2. Learn how to be professional about things. It can be a little overwhelming sometimes as work is a separate ball game altogether. Therefore, dress up, show up and look up (all like a real professional would).

3. Maintain distance. All you need to learn is where to open-up and where not to. Work is not a place for people who talk out of their asses!

4. ALWAYS REMEMBER, it’s a big world out there and everyone is trying to accomplish exactly what YOU are out for!

5.You should learn how to digest criticism. Listen up, you can’t always be right. When your senior criticises you, appreciate it, take a lesson from it and move on. Holding grudges won’t take you anywhere.

6. Suck up (at times) even if it doesn’t make sense to you. Because there are some things in this world that you don’t understand, just yet.

7. Experiment. Explore. Be open to everything. And volunteer at work wherever you can.

8. Be punctual. Period. No one respects a lazy bum.

9. Keep yourself updated with your what’s happening in the world (even if it doesn’t relate to your work). You never know when and which opportunity might fall in your lap. Be prepare to take it, all guns blazing.

10. Never ever pick sides at work. What doesn’t relate to you, doesn’t relate to you. Great minds talk about ideas, little minds talk about people.

In the end always remember – work to learn, not just to earn.

The all-new iPhone 6S is here and we couldn’t be happier. And just like every year, with a new iPhone launch comes a new iOS upgrade. Unfortunately, the iOS 9 upgrade didn’t witness much change in terms of aesthetics. However one thing that can’t be missed here is the fact that Siri just got smarter with the upgrade.

A woman tried to do something noble and it got lost in translation, quite literally!

A man tried to find a way to get his friend’s pet treated on a very helpful Facebook community. Find a way he did, but after realising he was too quick to judge a woman who was just trying to look out for the animal. Here’s how a normal conversation turned into something you would love to read.

6 common language problems every UPite faces when he moves to Delhi!

If you are from Delhi, it’s safe to assume that you have at least one friend who hails from the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh! They’re nice people just like every other Indian staying in the capital. BUT! There are a few things that set a UPite apart; and the funny thing is – his friend from Delhi never fails to mock/have a good laugh over those things!

If you are wondering what we’re talking about, here’s a list of language issues every UPite faces when he moves to Delhi!

1. The ‘Hum’ culture!

Every time a UP wala uses the word ‘hum’ (referring to himself), we bet the first thought that comes to his Delhiite friend’s mind is – ‘kitne aadmi the?’

2. The ‘Bagal mei hai’ banter!

Generally when a UPite uses the term ‘bagal’, he means ‘next to’. Clearly people from Delhi have a different meaning for this word!

3. The ‘Kantaap’ syndrome!

Yes, it means a ‘Slap’. The word ‘Chaanta’ is too mainstream for people hailing from UP. For every UPite, ‘Kantaap’ is more of a (vengeful) emotion than a mere action!

Whenever there’s a power cut, it’s generally referred to as ‘batti chali gayi’ and let’s admit it – its plain funny for those who hear it!

UPites don’t really like using the words like ‘Tu’ ‘kha le’ bla bla bla. It’s plain disrespectful for them. Let’s give it to them, words like ‘aap’ ‘khalijiye’ etc. have a deeper impact and promise respect for the person in question!
