This dog has a request for all of us and its hard hitting!

Hi, my name is courage. I look like a normal, happy and a healthy dog.

But I’m not.

I am one of those unfortunate living beings who were born on the streets and never had a chance to have a nice and loving family. They say I might be around 1.5 years old but I’ve lost the count of days where I had to go from street to street looking for food or a mere scratch on the back.

Life for me was okay till the time a human car (on a fine day) didn’t spot me walking on the road without realising that the car has brakes (or maybe he did realise – that’s something I would never know).

Little did I know, that very moment would change my life forever. Yes, the car ran over my hind legs and the human inside it never looked back.

This is exactly how he left me on the road.

You guessed it right! Those are my hind legs and I don’t feel them anymore.

I suffered at one of the busiest junctions in New Delhi with my inability to walk. I even once fell into a drain only to realise that I can’t get out of it myself. But, there was a good human that spotted me and saw how miserable I was. He was an auto-rickshaw puller. The man did pull me out of the drain but again; the hustle-bustle around that junction didn’t allow my rear legs to drag the rest of my body to a safer place. There I was. Lying in the corner for 8 days straight. Some did try and threw leftover food at me and I somehow didn’t die (though there wasn’t any reason for me to live).

Here I am now.

I do agree, not all of them are bad. There was this human who saw me fighting for life on the road side and took me somewhere in his car (though I hated the fact that I was in one). I hate cars. I’m sure you guys have figured that out by now. But strangely, I still don’t hate humans. Every time one approaches me, with my gleaming eyes I try to wag my tail with happiness but unfortunately I can’t feel my tail either.

I now live at a beautiful shelter with many other dogs (some of them are just like me) and a beautiful lady who took me in and cares for me.

I have a humble request for whoever’s reading this post. If you drive a car, please make sure that you apply brakes when you see one of us in the middle of the road. It’ll only delay your ride by 15 seconds but it will cost us our lives or put us in terrible pain for the rest of it. Give me a home? Somebody? I promise I’d love you forever!

So that’s my story. I’m a fighter. And I hope for a better tomorrow not just for me, but many others like me.

For a formal-chic look we’d suggest you go for solid culottes paired with a printed semi-formal top and a pair of strappy heels. For a summery look, wear light coloured or striped culottes with printed or plain crop-tops and pretty flats.

A pair of printed culottes make a big statement on it’s own. Keep the rest of the outfit simple with solid-coloured tee or tank tops.

2. Learn how to be professional about things. It can be a little overwhelming sometimes as work is a separate ball game altogether. Therefore, dress up, show up and look up (all like a real professional would).

3. Maintain distance. All you need to learn is where to open-up and where not to. Work is not a place for people who talk out of their asses!

4. ALWAYS REMEMBER, it’s a big world out there and everyone is trying to accomplish exactly what YOU are out for!

5.You should learn how to digest criticism. Listen up, you can’t always be right. When your senior criticises you, appreciate it, take a lesson from it and move on. Holding grudges won’t take you anywhere.

6. Suck up (at times) even if it doesn’t make sense to you. Because there are some things in this world that you don’t understand, just yet.

7. Experiment. Explore. Be open to everything. And volunteer at work wherever you can.

8. Be punctual. Period. No one respects a lazy bum.

9. Keep yourself updated with your what’s happening in the world (even if it doesn’t relate to your work). You never know when and which opportunity might fall in your lap. Be prepare to take it, all guns blazing.

10. Never ever pick sides at work. What doesn’t relate to you, doesn’t relate to you. Great minds talk about ideas, little minds talk about people.

In the end always remember – work to learn, not just to earn.

DIY: Colour Stain nail art

Try this fabulous colour stain nail art at home using your old nail paints and be ready to flaunt your nails in style. Take a look at this video to find out how.

You will need: Plain white nail paint, two coloured nail paints of your choice & a top coat paint.

Take a look at the steps:

Start off by applying two coats of white nail paint on to your nails.

Let it dry completely.

Now take any coloured paint and before applying it on to your nails, wipe off all the paint from the brush like this.

Gently apply these stain-like strokes to your nails and repeat the step with another colour.

Apply top coat to finish.

The story revolves around Sooraj, a gangster in Mumbai who kidnaps Radha, daughter of the city’s chief of police. How to tightline your eyes like a pro!
If you haven’t heard of ‘tightlining’, we wouldn’t blame you for confusing it with some sort of advanced technique of painting or drawing. However, tightlining is that eyeliner technique everyone talks about, but few can really explain.

Tightlining, also called invisible eyeliner, is a technique which is achieved by defining your eyelashes subtly with the help of your eyeliner. This technique creates the illusion of fuller, darker lashes and adds definition to the eyes while maintaining a no-makeup feel. Tightlining is actually a term for a tricky eyeliner technique that gives a sort of I-am-not-wearing-any-makeup effect; it defines your lash line and makes your eyes look subtly brighter.

Most people think that this technique is to make your eyes look bigger but what it really does is make your eyelashes appear fuller and thicker. Instead of lining the skin above your lashes, you line your upper waterline and it can be used for any casual or formal occasion. It sounds more difficult than it is in theory; master the technique with just two simple steps. Take a look.
1. Use your finger to lift up your eyelid so you can see the base of your lash root which you will be filling in with the eyeliner.
1. Take your eyeliner and using short strokes, line your upper waterline. Wiggle the eyeliner back and forth to make it more intense.
