A mainstay of both casual and formal wear, stripes have become a staple in every man’s wardrobe rather than just a trend. Seasonally appropriate and versatile, whether you are rocking striped pants, a striped suit, or layering a striped t-shirt under a blazer, this is a trend that everyone should get on board with. From Dior to Gucci, every brand has their own version of stripes taking the runways and the high street fashion by storm. Take a look at this week’s outfit of the week and get inspired.
Different stripes have different effects on overall body shape and size. Horizontal stripes tend to make you look wider, while vertical stripes draw the eye down giving the illusion of length/height.
Opt for thicker block-stripes or bold coloured motifs to bring a modern twist to this timeless pattern. Team up a bright tee with a pair of striped chino shorts and loafers for an off-duty look. Switch to trousers and a pair of blazers along with a striped shirt for a more evening-appropriate look.
There are no two ways about the fact that women love to multitask. Getting two or more things done at the same time gives them a sense of accomplishment and rightly so. However, slowing down is something they don’t like even for very important things like waiting for their nail paint to dry. The important thing to understand here is that while your beautiful manicure will make you stand out in a good way, your smudged nails will surely grab some unwanted attention.
Flapping your hands sometimes becomes really irritating and annoying. So, avoid that little irritation with these tips that will help you dry your nails at a quicker pace. There’s no need to sit around and wait anymore, here are 5 ways that will help you dry your nails in a New York minute by cutepolish.
Nothing says summer like bright colours and a great shirt dress. It is effortless, forever chic and a classic that never goes out of style. It is pretty much the perfect garment if you are at work or on a night out with the girls. Get inspired from this week’s outfit of the week and step out in style.
Shirt dresses add a hint of casual coolness and the contrasting feminine flair to an ensemble. We recommend this forest green, floral print shift dress from Koovs. This crisp shade has been a huge runway favourite this season and what are summers without florals? Pair it up with a pair of black stilettos or with a pair of flats to complement the look.
A classic round dial, leather strap watch never goes out of style, add a timeless piece to your outfit and complete the look with just a collar tip. Collar tips are one of the chicest accessories and they instantly add glamour to any subtle outfit. You can also wear a belt to make the outfit look more formal.
Spray some Toni and Guy Sea Salt spray to add a little texture and body to your hair as this humid weather tends to flatten the hair. Throw in an elegant hat and sunglasses to shade yourself from the sun and VOILA… you are all set to rock this classic look.
