Sport a jumpsuit this summer; Let Deepika Padukone show you how!

Deepika Padukone and Piku co-star Irrfan Khan recently unveiled an ethnic fusion range of clothing titled Piku Melange Collection. In association with the clothing brand Lifestyle, the collection was launched in Mumbai and is inspired by Deepika Padukone’s character in the upcoming movie Piku. It aims to represent the subtle elegance of a modern and carefree woman through easy and comfortable apparel.

Melange’s customers were given a chance to walk the ramp at this event in clothes from the collection, together with professional make-up, styling and catwalk training. Padukone also crowned the most stylish participant as the Piku Melange Queen.

DP looked fabulous in an Armani Jeans Jumpsuit with nude heels and a pop of colour on the lips.

Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in the lead, launched its second trailer in Mumbai recently.

The glamorous event witnessed actress Anushka Sharma looking gorgeous in printed separates from Zara paired with earrings from Aetee. Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor looked dapper in a classic black and white suit and white sneakers. Based in the 1960’s, this drama is one of the most awaited movies this year and is set to release on May 15. Both the stars looked adorable, cracking jokes and interacting with the media. Farhan Akhtar extends support to ‘Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon’ season 2

Actor Farhan Akhtar’s foundation MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) that advocates ‘responsible masculinity’ extended its support to the much-talked-about series ‘Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon’ to promote women empowerment.

After launching its second season at a trans-media show in Mumbai recently, the actor who vowed to spread awareness about gender equality and rape tweeted “#MARD is proud to be associated with ‘Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon’ a Doordarshan TV serial on women empowerment & male responsibility”. The second season of the show focusses on women empowerment during adolescence through self-help groups, male involvement and responsibility.

Dil Dhadakne Do trailer launch: Meet the Mehras!

The first trailer of Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do is finally out and we can’t stop watching it. Starring Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh as siblings, and Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah as their parents, the movie revolves around a cruise trip taken by this Punjabi family (the Mehras). Also accompanying them on this trip is Anushka Sharma as Ranveer Singh’s bae and Farhan Akhtar as Priyanka Chopra’s friend along with the family dog ‘Pluto Mehra’ and Rahul Bose as Chopra’s husband.

As per the trailer, the family goes through many discoveries and revelations about each other and their lives and that is exactly what the flick centres around. Chopra is sick of her husband and an apparently poor sex life, Akhtar seems to be her ex-boyfriend and Anushka Sharma’s character looks like someone Ranveer Singh met on the cruise and fell in love with immediately. The twist comes in when they realise that the parents (Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah) have been putting up a charade of looking happy, Chopra wants a divorce and Ranveer Singh has been promised to a family friend’s daughter in exchange for a jet plane. The movie is set to release on 5th June, 2015.

Trailer launch of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ starring Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan

Actors R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut launched the trailer of their upcoming entertainer ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ recently in Mumbai. This film is a sequel to the 2011 blockbuster ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ with the same star cast only this time with Ranaut in a double role. Ranaut looked stunning in a striped Stella McCartney long dress, white sneakers and open curls sans make-up at the trailer launch. Directed by Anand L. Rai this romantic comedy has all the ingredients to give a hearty and loud belly laugh.
