The rise of mobile applications reached new heights in 2014. From games, online dating to pictures, the year 2014 was all about apps that made your life easy. With everyone chanting the single-touch mantra apps took precedence over even programs on laptops. Not just simplifying routine work like paying bills and easy banking, some mobile apps just helped us get through life because of the addictive distractions they offer. Here’s the lowdown;

Plain Vanilla Games’ ‘QuizUp’ was launched in November 2013 for iOS devices and in March 2014 for Android devices.
