Say hello to your NEW friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, Tom Holland!

With change in times, comes a change in your superheroes. Sony Pictures and Marvel studio proudly present to you their new Spider-Man, Tom Holland. After an entire worldwide casting search, they chose Tom.

But who is Tom Holland?

Most of us haven’t even heard about this kid before. Who is he? Well, he isn’t a 100% unknown. He has had some impressive roles in The Impossible and Wolf Hall. Plus he’s performed the lead role brilliantly in Billy Elliot The Musical.

With his acrobat skills and good acting abilities, he has the potential to surpass the previous Spider-Man roles.

Furthermore Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Pictures, said “We saw many terrific young actors, but Tom’s screen tests were special. All in all, we are off to a roaring start.”

We’ll also get to see the young teenager perform his role in a cameo appearance in the next Captain America movie The Civil War.

Here’s Kim Kardashian insta-telling you about her baby!

Kim Kardashian revealed the gender of her baby number two on Instagram on Sunday night with an adorable picture of Kanye reading a book with his daughter North.

The couple had known about the gender for quite a while now and wanted to keep it a secret from the public. The Keeping up with the Kardashian star and her rapper hubby said that would’ve been very happy with another baby girl but now they feel beyond blessed to be having a baby boy and are looking forward to seeing Kanye have a ‘mini-me’.

After sharing the news over Instagram, Kim also tweeted ‘You’re such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!’

10 reasons why Wolverine the ‘badass’ would definitely be a bad roommate!

When we hear the term superheroes, Wolverine is one that comes to mind among few. While many of us wish we had his super powers, those adamantine claws and regenerative factors topped with super human strength make him a real badass superhero. But in reality if we really knew Wolverine, believe us – living with him would be pretty sucky. Here are some reasons why Wolverine would make the worst roommate ever.

1. Hair, hair, everywhere: Wolverine is known to be hairy, that implies hair strands all over the house! Maybe in the food, in the bathroom or on your bed, god knows where all. Ewww……

2. Anger Management: Having a roommate comes with a lot of quarrels over trivial issues – that’s a given. And when that time comes, be prepared to get thrashed, scratched and bashed all over by this angry mutant. Even if the argument was in your favour, be insanely careful when he’s in a foul mood lest you might end up regretting picking up a fight with the wrong team!

3. Drunken Stupor: Wolverine is known to be a drunk, and most of the time you’ll be that friend who’ll have to carry his drunken ass home! Seriously, listening to all his issues (he does have a loooooot of issues) and resolving the fights he picks up with random strangers is going to be a task. Worst case scenario? Imagine him losing his temper over his roommate without realizing you’re on his side.

4. Getting slashed: You’ll probably end up getting slashed, a lot of times. Perhaps when you have guests over, you’ll have to sleep all stuffed together on a single bed with him. And bam! You get stabbed in the stomach!

The aftermath: Half the time you’ll be apologising to people for the trouble he has caused, perhaps he had a fight with the neighbours, or he broke the car of a random dude just cause he was angry or he tore a train apart cause he was drunk! Realising that these people can’t really stand up against Wolvie, random thugs might end up beating you instead for revenge.

6. The lady killer: Imagine after a lot of hit and tries you finally bring a girl home and in a single glace at Wolvie she dumps you on the spot and falls for your roommate instead! Bummer, there goes your golden opportunity again!

7. The house filth: Men being men, the house will tend to get dirty with bits of trash here and there, probably a lot of cigarette butts and crushed beer cans lying on the ground. And you can’t really expect Wolverine to grab the broom and start cleaning. Or putting on gloves to do the dishes. Get to work and clean the place ya lazy bum.

8. The fans: If Wolverine did exist, half the time your house would be surrounded by fans wanting to ask questions and to get autographs and what not. Since Wolverine is a master at being lazy you might have to end up dealing with this too. Most people would be envious of you living with a superhero, only if they knew!

9. The daily bread: Being a superhero is a 24/7 job. Meaning – you’ll pretty much be doing all the earning in the house, providing the daily bread, paying the bills and fulfilling the drinking and smoking habits of that lazy mutant, all this comes under your territory. Think again, is it really worth it?

10. The wet dog smell: People usually smell really good after taking a shower. However, Wolverine would give a different experience to you if you meet him right after a shower. An experience that will leave you scarred and will only remind you of your wet dog!

Happy Birthday to the legendary Star Lord – Chris Pratt!

Born on 21^st June in Minnesota, the American actor Chris Pratt turned 36 this month. This has certainly been the year for the Guardians of the Galaxy fame, who recently stole people’s hearts being the Father of raptors(Alpha) in the Jurassic World movie.

Talking about his fatherhood, the Hollywood heartthrob also celebrated his son Jack Pratt’s birthday on the same day as Father’s Day! Well, that’s a brilliant co-incidence!

Have you met Kristen Stewart’s new GIRLFRIEND?

It’s been a long time since Kristen Stewart came into the spotlight especially since her split from long-term love Robert Pattison, two years ago. Game of Thrones season 5 finale: Et tu, Brute?

There wasn’t a single moment that didn’t lack grief in the last instalment of Game of Thrones season 5. And the best moment according to the makers of the show which was also the worst moment for the viewers, was obviously saved for the end. Some surprises, mostly shocks and a lot of sorrow are the ingredients of the last episode. Here is a list of the key moments. Spoilers included, goes without saying!

1) Too little too late – Stannis Baratheon

Setting his own daughter on fire in front of everyone in the name of the King’s blood did not do anything for Stannis Baratheon. Not only did half his army leave him overnight, his wife hung herself by a tree out of guilt and a conscience which wasn’t really helpful anymore. Stannis then heads to the Bolton’s only to realise that they are prepared for an open blood bath. And, needless to say, he loses the battle. In other news, Lady Melisandre anticipating the situation of Stannis’ army heads to Castle Black like a coward. On meeting Jon Snow, she says nothing (no mention of what she did to Princess Shireen too) and walks inside with a grieving face. Revenge finally sets in when Lady Brienne of Tarth kills Stannis Baratheon avenging the death of Renly Baratheon (because she used to serve him then).

2) Meet Arya Stark face to face

Arya Stark finally crosses a name off her list by killing Ser Meryn Trant appearing as a child prostitute in front of him. While we felt proud of her in that very moment, but like always, the pride was snatched away from us when Jaqar H’ghar tells Arya that she killed someone she wasn’t supposed to because of her personal reasons and she must pay for it. Pay she does and loses her eyesight!

3) Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy

The moment Lady Brienne and her squire turn their sight away from the high tower; Sansa manages to light that candle she had been meaning to for so long. All that effort was basically of no good. While Ramsay is out for war, Sansa tries to flee only to run into Reek and Ramsay’s lover, Myranda. While Myranda plans to return Sansa to Ramsay Bolton, so he can use her to get an heir, Reek (or Theon Greyjoy) finally mans up and pushes Myranda down to death. They both then jump from the wall, hand-in-hand leaving their fates to the Gods.

4) Cersei Lannister – The walk of shame

Broken and bogged down, Cersei decides to confess to the High Sparrow and wishes to spend time with her son in return. She only confesses to being involved with cousin Lancel Lannister out of marriage (no mention of Jamie anywhere) and the High Sparrow agrees to her wish given that she has completed her atonement and walk of shame. She is then stripped down, washed, locks chopped off and made to walk naked till King’s Landing while people curse her and throw… let’s just say things, at her.

5) Jamie Lannister finally feels what it’s like to be a father for 5 seconds

While bidding their goodbyes to Dorne, Ellaria Sand plants a long kiss on Myrcella’s lips wishing her all the happiness in the world. Jamie Lannister, Prince Trystane, Bronn and Myrcella then finally set out for King’s Landing when Jamie tries to tell Myrcella the truth about him and Cersei only to find out that she already knows. They share a brief father-daughter moment in a warm embrace when Myrcella starts bleeding from her nose and well…dies. Need help connecting the dots? Ellaria is then shown wiping her nose in Dorne and drinking the antidote to save her from the poison that was on her and Myrcella’s lips.

6) Are the Dothraki’s back?

Tyrion, Missandei and Grey Worm take charge of Meereen as Khaleesi is out in the wild with her dragon, when Jorah and Daario begin their quest to bring her back. Khaleesi and her hungry dragon, who is of no use at the moment, are in the middle of nowhere when Khaleesi is surrounded by the Dothraki army (Remember how they hate her?). She very smartly drops her ring so that someone can trace her but do the Dothrakis think of her the same way?

7) You really know nothing Jon Snow!

Just like his father Ned Stark, Jon Snow stood up for an honourable cause and got deceived by his own. He was tricked by Olly under the pretext of knowing the whereabouts of his uncle Benjen. He was then stabbed by the men of the Night’s Watch repeatedly (Et tu, Brute?). The most painful part is that the last person to stab him is Olly, that little kid!

Po is back and we couldn’t be more excited! Kung Fu Panda 3 reveals its first look!

The adorable lazy rolly polly Kung fu fighting panda ‘Po’ will make a grand comeback in early 2016 (Jan 29^th, 2016) and guess what? He won’t be the only panda around this time in the third installment of the Kung Fu Panda franchise!

Po, who was shown to be the last surviving panda now finally gets a chance to reunite with his people and his real family in Kung Fu Panda 3 , who have been living in a secret panda village after the attack on their original village (as shown in the previous movie).

Bryan Cranston! After all the seriousness on the critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad, ‘Walter White’ will now be seen in a new avatar of a panda who has come to chill with his panda son in the Kung Fu Panda 3.

Battle of the exes? Major Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez news!

Rumour has it that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez might be releasing a new video soon, not together obviously!

But there seems to be an ongoing battle between the two and too a social one! Both Gomez and Bieber have been seen sharing sexy shots of themselves in the SHOWER on Instagram teasing their fans. Yes! You can read it again, but the facts won’t change!

Why we think it’s a war? Well soon after Justin’s ex bae Selena posted her steamy topless picture in the shower quoting “Ready.. #itscomingsoon”; he posted a similar picture, without any caption though. Despite their messy breakup, clearly Justin is still keeping tabs on Selena, after all the heart wants what it wants. Or is it just a case of showing off their hot bodies on Instagram?

Up, up and away! And that’s how Mother Targaryen killed it in Game of Thrones Episode 9!

Let’s admit it; the entire world was thrilled with last week’s installment of Game of Thrones (episode 8) as the Whitewalkers came snarling down the mountains destroying almost half the wildlings’ army. As the winter approached in the north, our beloved kingdoms of the south had a different story to tell. Take a look at a flash back of the latest episode and what made it so awesome!

Spoilers ahead OBVIOUSLY!

1. Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 9 – ‘The Dance of Dragons’ concluded with a beautiful, like never before, twist in the end as Khaleesi gave her fans something to look forward to (finally the woman has started to make sense)! Yes, her free dragon named ‘Drogon’ saved the day (and his mother) while in an attack by the Sons of the Harpy in Meereen! We bet the moment when she mounts Drogon and flees away from the fighting arena stole the hearts of millions around the world! Long live Khaleesi! Now get the other two children out (It’s about time).

PS – While all this happened, did we mention that Hizdahr zo Loraq got murdered by the Sons of the Harpy? Dang! Was a good man, that one!

2. Stannis Baratheon – We dislike you (read HATE). Who sets his own daughter on fire for an Iron Throne? Our hearts were shattered when Lady Melisandre torched up the pyre with Princess Shireen tied to it. Game of Thrones has showed us how bad/inhuman people can really be! Well atleast, Stannis got a little dose by the Boltons in the beginning of the episode where Ramsay with an army of 20 raided their tents and lit up their horses. Good move boy! Next time, go for Melisandre! She’s the cunning counselor that will surely take Stannis down one day.

3. Jon Snow makes it back to the wall (with the wildlings) – Yes, Lord commander Jon Snow made it back with the left over army of wildlings to prepare for a bigger battle with the Whitewalkers. We’d love to see that now, won’t we? Alliser Thorne seemed a bit reluctant in opening the gates for them at first, but does it anyway. God knows what’s in store for this new union between the two arch enemies!

4. Little Arya sure has something on her mind. Her role in the last episode wasn’t very clear regarding what she really wanted, but we definitely know there’s something plotting in her little head! The thin-man isn’t one of her biggest concerns right now!

5. Jamie Lannister’s daughter is finally getting home! With Jamie and Bronn declared free by Prince Doran, now the reunited father and daughter are set to go back to King’s Landing joined by the prince of Dorne Trystane Martell who is to wed Jamie’s daughter!

Hollywood movies releasing this June

Entourage, Spy, Jurassic World, and Ted 2 are set to hit the cinema screens and spice up your boring weekends. Here is everything you need to know about these silver screen releases before you grab your movie tickets.

1) Entourage

The much anticipated big screen version of the award-winning hit HBO series, starring Evin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven is set to hit the cinemas on 4th June. This American comedy is back in continuation after the 8^th season as a movie to tickle your funny bone with its sarcasm and comedy.

Run time: 1 hour 44 minutes

2) Spy

This multi- starrer American action comedy is hitting the screens on 5th June. The movie revolves around a CIA analyst Susan Cooper (played by Melissa McCarthy) who has spent her entire career as a desk jockey, working hand-in-hand with the dashing agent Bradley Fine (played by Jude Law). Using high-tech equipment and a hidden earpiece, Susan is the guardian angel who helps Bradley avoid danger. So save the date and watch this movie at your nearest cinema.

3) Jurassic World

Directed by Colin Trevorrow Jurassic World is an American science fiction adventure film based on the events that take place in a dinosaur adventure theme park. This is the fourth part to the Jurassic Park film series. So get ready to relive the dino adventures yet again on 12th June

4) Ted 2

This American comedy is set to hit the theatres on 26th June. The story revolves around Ted (the bear) who marries Tami-Lynn, his girlfriend from the first film, and the couple try for a baby together. The twist is that Ted needs his best friend John to provide sperm for artificial insemination. However, to have custody of this child, he has to prove to a court of law that he is human. So wait till you fall off your seats laughing.
