Actress Kalki Koechlin was spotted in a Gaurav Gupta number in the capital at the special screening of her upcoming movie ‘Margarita With A Straw’ in Delhi. She looked gorgeous in a sapphire blue coloured shoulder cut out dress fresh off the AIFW runway by designer Gaurav Gupta. The look was completed with antique golden earnings and black stilettos and side-split hair pulled back in a bun.

Bobby Khan’s ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ starring the gorgeous Sunny Leone is set to hit the screens today marking her first Bollywood release of 2015. A special screening of this movie was held in Mumbai recently and many actors were spotted attending the event including Sunny Leone, Elli Avram, Rajneesh Duggal, Jas Arora and VJ Andy.

Celeb sightings: Aamir Khan’s special screening for ‘Margarita With A Straw’

Actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao hosted a special screening for Shonali Bose’s highly acclaimed movie ‘Margarita With A Straw’ recently in Mumbai. This Kalki Koechlin starrer is a coming-of-age film that revolves around the journey of a wheelchair user student Laila (played by Kalki) suffering from cerebral palsy.

Known faces from B-town emerged in support of the movie including Shraddha Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Anurag Kashyap, Rajkumar Hirani, Dibakar Banerjee and more. Here are all the pictures.

How Amyra Dastur rocked this monochrome look

The beautiful actress Amyra Dastur was spotted at the poster launch of the upcoming Mahesh Bhatt production ‘Mr.X’ in Mumbai. She looked every bit a stunner in a white short skirt and a black lacy top by Madison, paired with black stilettos to complete the look. This monochrome outfit was styled by Bornali Talukdar and her hair and make-up were done by celebrity make-up artist Luveena Lodh. ‘Mr.X’ is Amyra’s second movie. The 21-year old actress made her debut in 2013 in the movie ‘Issaq’ opposite Prateik Babbar.

How adorable was Manish Malhotra’s lineup for the Mijwan Show!

Shabana Azmi’s NGO Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) completed 4 years of its incredible journey recently. The grand annual Mijwan fundraiser fashion show 2015 was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai to celebrate the same. Acclaimed Designer Manish Malhotra showcased his creations with Bollywood celebs and their star kids walking down the runway. The underlying idea was to show support for empowerment of rural women and their education. Check out these beautiful moments from the Mijwan Show.

Highlights of Amazon India Fashion Week A/W’15: Day 5

The last day of the Amazon India Fashion Week concluded with a big bang with designers like Amalraj Sengupta, Sneha Arora, Shweta Kapur and the duo Ashima Leena showcasing their winter collections. But the biggest highlight that stole the show were the veterans from the Indian fashion fraternity at the finale of the 25^th edition of the Amazon India Fashion. A grand affair quite literally with 25 designers presenting their collections together for the first time as an ode to the ‘Crafts of India’. Take a look.

The last day of the Amazon India Fashion Week kicked-off with designer Amalraj Sengupta displaying his tribal collection with dresses, saris paired with jackets and separates. Designer Sneha Arora presented her collection titled ‘Appetite’ for all the food lovers. Outfits with prints and colours inspired by fruits and vegetables were prominent on the ramp for this rather unique lineup.

Designer Shweta Kapur’s collection titled ‘Manhole’ was inspired by her personal experience of falling into a manhole. Models walked the catwalk in separates, dresses, jumpsuits and saris in shades of grey, black and white.

The second tribal sighting of the day was designer duo Ashima Leena’s collection with models walking down the runway in short jackets, scarf drapes, kaftans and wide legged pants in layered flowing prints.

The grand finale of the 25^th edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week was a historic moment for the Indian fashion industry with 25 designers presenting their collections together sharing the same runway at the same time. Padma Shree awardees Ritu Kumar and Wendell Rodricks, JJ Valaya, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Raghavendra Rathore and Sabyasachi were some of the designers who were a part of this opulent finale.

Last day of the Amazon India Fashion Week was low-key on the makeup with designers opting for the ‘no make-up’ make-up look with a hint of smokey eyes to keep the focus on the beautiful outfits. Here’s a quick look at the best of beauty trends on the runway.

Just like all other days, the last day of Amazon India Fashion Week also witnessed smokey eyes but with a modern spin. Designers Shweta Kapur, Sneha Arora and Amalraj Sengupta added a unique edge to the smokey eye with models wearing dramatic eyeliner going all over the eyelid structuring the eye with warm toned cheeks and nude lips.

There’s nothing like a classic smokey eye, but sometimes it’s fun to go beyond the usual black and switch things up. Designer duo Ashima – Leena spiced up their collection by smoking up golden eye-shadow and highlighting the inner corners of the eyes in coral with bare lips.

The Finale was a grand affair with India’s finest couturiers coming together to present an ode to the ‘Crafts of India’. Different stories were painted starting with a western collection, followed by ethnic beauty with hues of royal crimson, reds and fiery orange. With models wearing bold smokey eyes and nude lips, it was a true delight to watch the balanced colours play out their magic.
