    Held at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, the GQ Fashion Nights was a mix of all things fashion, style and men. The red carpet saw the best of B-town turn up looking glamorous including Dia Mirza, Zaheer Khan, Pernia Qureshi, Adhuna Akhtar, Mandira Bedi, Kabir Bedi and many more.

    YouTube star and the ex-Big brother contestant Sam Pepper has been making headlines of late for reasons that cannot be explained. In his recent video ‘Killing best friend prank’, Sam Pepper took pranking to a whole new level with two teenage best friends named Sam and Colby who have been together for 5 years.

    Unfortunately Sam has been targeted in the video and little did he know that the entire prank would change his life forever. This video has caused a lot of outrage on the Internet but we’ll get to that later. Let’s have a look at the video first.

    After watching this video, the Twitterati went berserk, appealing (almost threatening) to Sam Pepper to take down the video from his YouTube channel.

    Held on 30th November at Taj Land’s End in Mumbai, The Abolsut Elyx Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2015 was an extravagant affair and rightly so. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Dia Mirza and Alia Bhatt among others were spotted wearing their most stylish ensembles and we were impressed!

    Durex has always amazed us with their marketing campaigns (remember Ranveer Singh’s ‘Do the Rex’ dance?) and it is back yet again with a rather befitting campaign. This World AIDS Day (1st December 2015), Durex is appealing to the smart guys who invent Emojis to launch a condom emoji! Yes, you read that right!

    We all have our ways of sending emojis that hint at sex, mostly using the hand signs and apparently aubergines too *insert shocked emoji here* but do we ever send a safe sex sign? I am not really sure. To cover that gap and appeal to a rather larger audience, Durex has created this new ad campaign. If more people share it and use the hashtag #CondomEmoji, the guys who invent the Emojis will understand just how important this is and might just include it in our keyboards.

    The NDTV Coca-Cola Support My School campaign started back in 2011 when it was noted that many girls were dropping out of school simply because of the lack proper sanitation facilities like a separate toilet for girls. While the idea was to help provide basic facilities, the campaign grew by leaps and bounds over time and has succeeded in equipping many schools with clean water, libraries, playgrounds and much more.

    The campaign has helped revitalise 600 schools so far and 2015 is looking much better.The recently held NDTV Coca-Cola Support My School Telethon was successful in raising over INR 91 crores to achieve its target of revitalising 1000 schools.

    Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Sonali Bendre along with campaign ambassador Sourav Ganguly actively participated in the Telethon to raise funds and help spread awareness about the campaign. Sonali Bendre even donated INR 5,00,000 to help the cause. Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and Zarina Screwvala, the Founder and Managing Trustee of Swades Foundation, also helped encourage and educate people about the noble cause.

    Sung by Vishal Dadlani and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the song signifies victory and celebration where Bajirao motivates his soldiers for future battles.

    We all owe Bacardi NH7 Weekender a big one for getting the insanely talented music composer – A. R. Rahman to New Delhi this year for the fans who have always wanted to see the musical maestro live. This Grammy, BAFTA and Oscar winner gave New Delhi a performance that they hadn’t seen coming. From the beginning to the very end, Rahman maintained his magic through his powerful music and ruled over thousands of fans who just couldn’t ask for a better ending to the first day of the music extravaganza!

    “Only You” being the opening song was just enough to take the crowd by storm leaving them gasping for more. So lost in the music, the guitar and drum solos that came in between, A. R. Rahman caught everyone by surprise when he started performing Dil Se from Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie of the same name.  A few from Rockstar like, Naadan Parindey, Jo Bhi Main, the hit single from Tamasha – Wat Wat Wat and a new composition he did for a Mani Ratnam movie had the fans sway in joy.

    Also, tracks from Saathiya and Highway that came up in between! The crowd was so pumped having him on stage that the crowd joined him in every song that came up, and for a very brief moment the fans performed for the legend.  Thanks to the screens on the sides, everyone could witness A. R. Rahman’s fingers running on the keyboard and creating something that can be only termed magic. He bid goodbye to Delhi by saying “Spread peace, Jai Ho!”

    Captain America: Civil War is going to be Marvel’s biggest yet, here’s why!

    The trailer for Captain America: Civil War is out and there are a lot of things happening which makes it pretty hard to understand what twists and turns we will be seeing in the movie. Other than that, there’s a fresh new superhero, Black Panther, who the fans have been talking about since the reports of him being in the movie were confirmed. Another face that you will recognise is William Hurt, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross from The Incredible Hulk (2008), who stood against hulk with the U.S. Military.

    With people coming back from the past and new characters being introduced, there’s a lot more to know and our expectations are on the rise. Before we let the trailer get over our head we are going  to wait for another trailer to understand things better. A few things are sure though, war is coming and it isn’t going to be easy for both the teams to take the last stand. Civil War comes out on 5th June 2016. Till then, make do with the trailer.

    HBO shared a picture yesterday that had the world freaking out. The American television network retweeted a picture from Game of Thrones that shows Jon Snow and Jon Snow only. Of course people are freaking out over it because Jon Snow is alive (or so we’d like to believe) , but somehow we’ve kept our emotions aside and put a thought into that poster. It can easily be a public stunt. Just to mess with the fans and let them know what is coming to them in the month of April next year.

    The picture shows Jon Snow’s face with a splash of blood and his eyes can’t be seen properly. From the looks of it, it looks something dark and mysterious. But that’s not it; this has left us confused because we don’t know what’s exactly going to happen and to figure that out we took a little help from the fan theories. These fan theories have a fifty-fifty chance of them being correct or incorrect. Well, that’s something we will have to live with for now.

    Jon Snow can possibly be Azor Ahai. For those who are hearing this name from the first time, Azor Ahai was the one who ended the reign of White Walkers and brought end to ‘The Long Night’ a thousand years ago. According to the Legends, he is the one who forged the Lightbringer, the sword responsible to put White Walkers to death for good and would set its enemies into flames. Remember the tale Lady Melisandre always told Stannis about believing he will be the Azor Ahai? Well, we all know now that she was wrong after Stannis lost his life in his last battle (but he still lives in the books.)

    As the prophecy goes according to Lady Melisandre, “When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt to wake dragons out of stone.”  And keeping the last season in mind, the times are getting tougher because the White Walkers have almost arrived.

    Like it’s written in the books, while Jon’s brothers in the Night’s watch draw their daggers to stab him one by one, he lays in the snow with a pool of his blood which many fans consider as ‘salt and smoke’. If that’s how it is, Jon will be reborn. As cool and crazy as it sounds, we can’t confirm any of it.

    Hold on to your chairs as the new extended trailer of the movie Bajirao Mastani is out and it will take you back to the 18th century. At the grand launch of the latest trailer in Mumbai, actor Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh looked nothing less than Marathi royalty, as they made a grand entrance in a chariot. With their second movie together, the duo shared an ineluctable chemistry as they posed for the shutterbugs. Also spotted at the launch was director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who was equally excited about the movie and shared his experience with the media. Take a look at the pictures from the event.

    At the launch, actress Deepika Padukone chose to wear a black and beige, cut-out Sabhyasachi number with intricate bead work and danglers to die for. With her winged eye liner on fleek and braided hair, the Ram Leela star completed her look by keeping rest of her makeup subtle.
