
Durex has always amazed us with their marketing campaigns (remember Ranveer Singh’s ‘Do the Rex’ dance?) and it is back yet again with a rather befitting campaign. This World AIDS Day (1st December 2015), Durex is appealing to the smart guys who invent Emojis to launch a condom emoji! Yes, you read that right!
We all have our ways of sending emojis that hint at sex, mostly using the hand signs and apparently aubergines too *insert shocked emoji here* but do we ever send a safe sex sign? I am not really sure. To cover that gap and appeal to a rather larger audience, Durex has created this new ad campaign. If more people share it and use the hashtag #CondomEmoji, the guys who invent the Emojis will understand just how important this is and might just include it in our keyboards.
