DIY: Clean your makeup brushes at home with this simple hack!
Tired of buying new makeup brushes again and again. Use this simple hack to wash your makeup brushes at home and save that money for other makeup products.
Things you need: Dirty makeup brushes, two plain bowls, baby oil, mild soap and some tissues.
Step 1: Fill one bowl with lukewarm water and the other with water kept at room temperature
Step 2: Pour two pumps of the hand wash soap into lukewarm water
Step 3: Add a few drops of baby oil to it
Step 4: Take the makeup brush and immerse it into the mix
Step 5: Move the brush in circular motion to clean them. Make sure that all the product is out of the brush (change the water, if required)
Step 6: Dip the brush into the other bowl with clean water once you feel they are absolutely clean. Wiggle to get the residue out.
Step 7: Squeeze out all the excess water from the brush and dab it on the tissue.
Repeat the process to clean all the brushes. Let them dry for at least an hour.
Voila! your brushes are now ready to use!

1) Understand your industry’s etiquettes
It’s imperative that you understand the kind of attire that’ll make you look professional in your own field; for instance a corporate lawyer would not like to dress as a fashion editor. But some simple rules apply everywhere for women. It’s best to avoid short hemlines, plunging necklines, exposed under garments, body hugging clothes and heels that are too tall. Work is not a place where you should be remembered for a deep cleavage or short dresses. Keep it simple and be a lady.
2) Get the right fit

This is the story about an unfortunate juvenile shark who was recently found stranded on a beach in Massachusetts. The poor fish of about 7’ feet long was witnessed crying for help on the beach struggling to dive into its natural habitat!
The story took an incredible turn when some noble people present at the beach kept the great white shark alive while the rescuers made the necessary arrangements to get it back into the water!

1) Use white pencil liner in your waterline to make them appear bigger.
2) Apply a lighter shade of eye shadow near the inside ridge to brighten up your eyes.
3) Fix your clumpy mascara by putting 2 to 3 drops of any eye drops/ lens solution in it.
4) Know your eye shape to accentuate your eyes in the right way.
5) Use a business card to apply mascara for more length and volume.
6) Match your foundation shade on your neck.
7) Know where to apply your blush according to your face shape.
8) Always apply your foundation in downward strokes.
9) To make your lipstick last longer, apply one coat of colour and then hold a tissue over your lips and apply some powder over the tissue using a brush.
10) Use primer instead of makeup remover to get away with any mistakes. It wipes off the make-up while preparing the skin for the next use.
11) Cover your eyelid with white eye shadow before applying another colour to make your eye shadow colour pop.

Get the perfect smokey eye with these simple steps!
Contrary to popular belief, it’s not so hard to get the perfect smokey eye at home. Before stepping out in the evening next time, take a look at this tutorial and get the flawless look.
Step 1. Prep and prime the eyes to prevent the eye makeup from creasing. You can use an eye primer or concealer of your choice.
Step 2. With a black eyeliner, cover the entire eyelid (stopping just underneath the crease). Don’t worry about being precise; we will eventually blend this out.
Step 3. With the pointy brush, blend the eyeliner all over the eyelid (again, just below the crease).
Step 4. With a shading brush, apply a dark brown eye shadow all over the eyelid, taking the colour upwards (slightly passing the crease).
Step 5. With a fluffy blending brush, buff-out the sharp lines and edges, blending the colours together for a seamless finish. Use small circular motions.
Step 6. Using a flat eye shading brush, press on black eye shadow all over the eyelid stopping just before the brown colour starts. Blend the black colour up into the brown eye shadow using the fluffy blending brush again.
Step 7. Using the pointy brush again, apply the same dark brown eye shadow to draw a line along the bottom lash line.
Step 8. Using black eye pencil or gel liner, line your lower waterline. Curl your lashes and apply 2-3 coats of black volumising mascara or you may use false lashes.
Step 9. Using a clean eye shadow brush, apply a shimmery beige eye shadow to the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye. And you’re done.
