    The premium luxury E-commerce portal Rocknshop.com powered by the multi-brand retail store Kitsch presented an evening full of splendour, magnificence and grandeur in collaboration with Blue Bar at the Taj Palace in the capital. The event witnessed turnouts from the cream of the crop from across the city for an exclusive line-up of high fashion brands like Victoria Beckham, Sophia Webster, Hanley Mellon and Bibhu Mohapatra. What made this preview stand out from the rest was that it moved away from the usual evening wear and gowns embracing a fresh approach to dressing effortlessly by introducing daywear. The Pre-Fall and Fall 2015 collections of the brands were also put up on a silent auction enabling guests to shop for these iconic brands.     The Swedish multinational retail brand H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB popularly known as H&M is all set to open its doors in India come fall. The first store is scheduled to open in September spread across 25000 square ft at Select Citywalk Mall in the capital’s Saket area. The recently held press preview offered a sneak peek into the brand’s line-up for the Indian market. Here’s everything you should be looking out for.

    #1 Fall/Winter clothing for men and women

    H&M, needless to say, is all about sophisticated style when it comes to apparel for men and women. Men must look out for their winter jackets in shades of grey and beige along with knitted jumpers and tan trousers. 

    Bomber jackets for women with a glittery twist, leather skirts and dresses are the must-haves for women from their fall collection.

    There is finally a brand in India offering gloves for winter, that we were absolutely in love with. Neckpieces, wrist cuffs, hats and bags in different colours and styles were other accessories that made the cut for us.

    Designer Pia Pauro’s collection ‘Riders on the storm’ went a step away from the usual where models were seen wearing African tribal feathery headgears which were an absolute treat to the eye. Designer Sonam Dubal went for colourful scarfs tied as turbands for her collection that consisted of a mix of reds, fuchsia and orange whereas designer label Virtues by  Viral, Ashish & Vikrant used braided hairband and accessories to complete their military inspired look.

    Models looked stunning in Scottish caps and hair tied into twisted buns on the sides walking the ramp for designer Aneeth Arora. Neatly tied accessorised-buns were donned by models showcasing the collections of Designers Poonam Bhagat and Sonam Dubal.

Designers including Sahil Kochhar, Pia Pauro, Bodice by Ruchika Sachdeva, Péro by Aneeth Arora and Gaurav Gupta put the best of their collections on the runway. Here’s a sneak peek into the Day 4 of Amazon India Fashion Week A/W’ 15.

    Designer Nikhita opened the fourth day of the event for her label Mynah designs by showcasing meticulously structured, neatly sculpted outfits whereas designer Pratima Pandey put together a lineup comprising separates in flowy silhouettes paired together in earthy tones, prints and gold embellishments. Designer Sahil Kochhar broke away from his usual ecru-colour palette and displayed intricately-made winter garments in shades of green, pink, black and blue.

Designer label Virtues by Viral, Ashish & Vikrant showcased an ethnic version of a military-inspired collection while designer Aneeth Arora displayed a rather playful and androgynous collection inspired by redefined military uniforms for her label Péro.

    Day three at the Amazon India Fashion Week kicked off with designer Paromita Banerjee’s collection ‘Boro Part 2′. An extension to her previous autumn/winter’ 13 collection, this lineup showcased a beautiful amalgamation of hand-woven fabrics involving various textures, techniques and intricate designs.

    Designer Tanvi Kedia’s collection ‘Jama’, represented the journey of a traveller’s adventures through India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Saris, lehengas, shararas, kurtas and skirts comprising a vivid color palette with traditional hues were the highlights of the collection.

    ‘Seekers Keepers’ by designer Rina Singh represented a fabulous ensemble borrowing inspiration from stories across the world, small villages, big cities, travellers, socialites and many more under the label ‘EKA’. From the purest beiges to deep mahogany, the collection displayed tremendous artwork in terms of designs and silhouettes.

    Next in line was Armor by 11:11. People from all walks of life walked down the ramp in just the right shades for winter with drapes in black and gold featuring armor jackets, lace dresses and unique silhouettes.

    Taking inspiration from the monuments of Delhi, Designer Anupama Dayal presented the collection ‘Jamali Kamali’. Shades of sandstone, ecru, tones of red, ochre and of pale blue with a slight touch of a Bohemian element made this collection stand out.

    Taking inspiration from ‘Nyx’ – also known as the Greek goddess of night Designer Namrata Joshipura’s collection was made of deeper hues like marigold orange, deep red, ruby, ocean green and golds. The runway was surprisingly decked with beds in a hospital-like setting and models walked down the ramp donning monochromes, checks, prints, separates all in black and white paired with cat-eye glasses and a pop of red on the lips.
