Mark the dates for these Bollywood movies releasing this June

Dil Dhadakne Do, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, ABCD 2 and Main Aur Charles are set to entertain you all throughout this month. From comedy to family drama and groovy dance moves, each one of them has something unique to offer. Take a look at these four movies hitting the screens this month and what they are all about.

1) Dil Dhadakne Do

Zoya Akhtar’s much awaited Dil Dhadakne Do is finally around the corner with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma together once again after a long time and the stylish Priyanka Chopra along with Farhan Akhtar. The film is about a dysfunctional Punjabi family that goes on a cruise to celebrate Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah’s (aka Mr. and Mrs. Mehra) thirtieth wedding anniversary. What happens next? Find out on 5th June.

Run time: 2 hours 50 minutes.

2) Hamari Adhuri Kahani

Starring Imran Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkumar Rao this is a romantic drama based on producer Mahesh Bhatt’s parents’ real life love story. The film is scheduled for release on 12^th June, 2015.

Run time: 2 hours 20 minutes.

3) ABCD 2

Get ready to dance this June with Walt Disney’s ABCD 2 starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Deva. A sequel to 2013’s ABCD (Any Body Can Dance). The story traces the journey of an Indian dance troupe with an assortment of boys and girls who come from the backstreets of a Mumbai suburb and unite through dance. This movie is set to hit the cinemas on 19^th June, 2015.

4) Main Aur Charles

With Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda, Adil Hussain and Tisca Chopra in lead roles this thriller is set to hit the big screens on 26^thJune. The movie revolves around Charles, an enigmatic con man and a vicious killer who escapes from Tihar jail. What follows next? Wait and watch at cinemas near you.

Pictures: 16th IIFA Awards Weekend press meet

A press conference of one of the most awaited award ceremonies of the year, IIFA Awards, was recently held in Mumbai and it was a star studded affair. The conference was attended by B-town celebs Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. The actress looked gorgeous in a black off-shoulder draped dress by designer Anand Kabra, Amrapali jewellery, Charles & Keith lucite wedges and messy hair tied to the side that enhanced the entire look. Masaan’s premier staring Richa Chadda at Cannes receives a 5 minutes long standing ovation!

Actress Richa Chadha was left teary eyed when her film Masaan which was premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival received a five minutes long standing ovation. Richa Chadha who made her debut in 2013 Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur is the lead actress in the movie. Masaan is an Indo-French co-production produced by Manish Mundra and is one of the only two Indie movies that have been screened at Cannes this year, the other being Chauthi Koot a Punjabi film. Based on a true story, the film portrays four lives that intersect along the Ganges; a lower-caste boy in hopeless love, a daughter ridden with the guilt of a sexual encounter ending in a tragedy, a helpless father with a fading morality and a spirited child yearning for a family, all longing to escape the moral constructs of a small-town. Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at the Mumbai airport travelling back from Kolkata during their film Bombay Velvet’s promotions. Meanwhile in Pakistan: Pakistani Salman Khan demanding to be arrested!

Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case verdict on one hand has restored people’s faith in the judiciary; but has left millions of fans heartbroken all over the world, on the other. While many chose to mourn about it on social media and holding mass prayer sessions, there was this one fan in Pakistan who expressed his extreme disappointment in a slightly unique fashion.
