If you still don’t know what net neutrality is you don’t deserve to be online. Net neutrality, in simple words, is a concept of providing internet as an equal service with equal access to everyone. As of now, there is no law in India about Net Neutrality but if we don’t support the cause, the internet will be broken into smaller fragments and you’ll have to purchase every little fragment separately to gain access to it (believe us, it’s coming your way soon).
So think about this, you pay for the connection, you pay for your favourite websites and chances are that you might have to pay to gain access to some special sections of those websites too. As the men at AIB have righty pointed out, internet is the only place today where everyone is equal and this must not change.
Watch this video by AIB to get this amazing explanation and log on to www.savetheinternet.in to support net neutrality. The internet needs you! The deadline is 24th April so leave everything and go save the internet now.
