Shabana Azmi’s NGO Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) completed 4 years of its incredible journey recently. The grand annual Mijwan fundraiser fashion show 2015 was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai to celebrate the same. Acclaimed Designer Manish Malhotra showcased his creations with Bollywood celebs and their star kids walking down the runway. The last day of the Amazon India Fashion Week concluded with a big bang with designers like Amalraj Sengupta, Sneha Arora, Shweta Kapur and the duo Ashima Leena showcasing their winter collections. But the biggest highlight that stole the show were the veterans from the Indian fashion fraternity at the finale of the 25th edition of the Amazon India Fashion. Designer Sneha Arora presented her collection titled ‘Appetite’ for all the food lovers. Outfits with prints and colours inspired by fruits and vegetables were prominent on the ramp for this rather unique lineup.

Designer Shweta Kapur’s collection titled ‘Manhole’ was inspired by her personal experience of falling into a manhole. Models walked the catwalk in separates, dresses, jumpsuits and saris in shades of grey, black and white.
The second tribal sighting of the day was designer duo Ashima Leena’s collection with models walking down the runway in short jackets, scarf drapes, kaftans and wide legged pants in layered flowing prints.
