    Pantone has revealed the colour of the year 2016 and it is not just one!

    It’s that time of the year again when Pantone announces the colour of the year. And the world waits for this moment. Whether you’re a fashionista or just someone who likes colours, you have to admit that you wait for this moment with bated breath. For the first time ever, there are two colours that are sharing the coveted title and are giving us major throwback moments of the 80’s and 90’s. Make way for the chosen colour of the year 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity blue.

    Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance of wellness and tranquillity as well as a soothing sense of order and peace. The colours are also associated with gender equality and fluidity.

    The two shades are a stark contrast from last year’s pick Marsala, and they offer countless opportunities for patterns and pairings.

    The fresh and lively colours are already gaining traction. The colour of the year 2016 was a part of  Marc Jacobs’ 2016 ready to wear collection as well as at Sephora’s limited edition collection.

    Dilwale’s team joins hands with CNN to support abolition of slavery

    On The International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were seen helping CNN spread awareness about modern slavery by shooting paper planes with a message written on them followed by a hashtag that read Fly to Freedom. The two also passed the baton to Varun Dhawan and Kirti Sanon, enabling them to follow the movement. Both the young actors will be soon witnessed sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in their upcoming movie Dilwali.


    Humans have matched pace with time and evolved step by step, starting from the medieval period to the 21st century. However, we often forget that there exists a rather large bunch of people who are still devoid of basic human rights and freedom. And to especially help the cause of human trafficking, CNN International initiated the CNN Freedom Project back in 2011 that has been working tremendously for rescuing victims.

    CNN Freedom project is a humanitarian news media campaign that seeks to educate and advocate against modern slavery. The Diwale team came together in support of the cause urging everyone to join the movement. Take a look at the video.

    Baking makeup is a highlighting technique in which you set your concealer with a generous amount of translucent powder and allow it to sit on your face for five to ten minutes. The heat from your skin allows your foundation and concealer to set, giving your skin a smooth and crease-less finish.

    Learn how baking your makeup can give you a poreless, picture-perfect celebrity-like skin with these easy steps:

    1. Start off by prepping and priming your skin with your usual routine and apply your foundation.
    2. After applying your foundation, hydrate your under-eye skin with a good eye cream to minimise the appearance of any fine lines or pores. You can try Bobbi Brown’s hydrating eye cream.
    3. Apply two thick layers of your concealer in upward direction from underneath your eye towards your temples. Blend it using a damp makeup sponge and let it set for five minutes.
    4. Dust a layer of translucent powder to set your concealer and smooth out all the creases.
    5. Now, bake or cook your makeup. Spray some setting spray on a damp makeup sponge and dip it into your translucent powder. Apply the loose powder by dabbing a generous amount below the under eye area, the hollows of your cheeks and the temple of your nose.
    6. Leave the powder to set for at least five to ten minutes.
    7. Using a fluffy eye shadow brush, load some compact powder of your shade and gently start dusting off the translucent powder. By using a compact powder you add a little more colour and coverage to the areas that are baked. Blend away harsh edges and viola you’re baked.

    We hope Jon Snow is alive! But does the teaser really give any confirmation?

    Since the last scene of Game of Thrones’ fifth season, fans have been looking for Kit Harrington more than rats look for cheese. There were multiple speculations of his return to the show and fans were out to look for evidence.

    He was spotted with his Jon Snow look in many locations giving a big clue to everyone as HBO tried to make people believe otherwise.

    At an interview in September, Kit Harrington stated “Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over”.

    And GOT book lovers came up with their own theories mostly circling around Lady Melisandre and her magic powers who is expected to resurrect him.

    While fans looked for more such cues, HBO revealed a small teaser poster to finally put rumours to rest.

    But the poster could just mean that the show will pick up from Jon Snow’s end. While we can’t do anything but wait till April 2016 to find out Jon Snow’s fate, here’s something that might keep you going.

    Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the movie revolves around Farhan Akhtar as a commando officer and Amitabh Bachchan as a paralyzed chess master.
