Being a newsreader on the television can be real hard. It’s a job where you have to keep a straight face on, irrespective of the kind of news you’re reading – be it sad, traumatic or plain funny! Assuming that these readers are trained to do that, we also need to accept the fact that they’re human too and consequently they have emotions
A funny example here, about a newsreader laughing out loud on air is one of the best videos we’ve seen lately. During a CTV News segment on a ‘man who lived as a goat for 3 days’, the news anchor cracked up with her co-anchors on air and it’s hilarious. We bet YOU can’t keep a straight face either while watching this piece. While we’re not sure if it’s the situation that’s funny or just the setting but we will tell that the new is about a UK-based designer Thomas Thwaites who created prosthetic legs in order to live amongst the goats (as one of them) for three days at the Alps.
He even documented his experiences in a novel named ‘GoatMan: How I took a Holiday from Being Human’. We’d really like to get a copy that. Because who doesn’t want to know what it’s like to live as a goat, right?
