These Hollywood movies coming out in August are set to blow you away!


Every month we update you about the movies you should be looking forward to and the ones that you should deifnitely not miss, you’re welcome. And August is the month that’s bringing you one of the highly anticipated movies of the year; *drumroll*, it’s Suicide Squad. We’ve been waiting to get our eyes glued on Suicide Squad and finally the time is here. But it isn’t the only movie that’s going to have your jaw touching the ground.

So, without wasting any more of your time and ours too, here, take a look at the trailers of all the handpicked Hollywood movies coming out in August! Cheers!

#1 Jason Bourne – 5th August

Guess who’s back? Matt Damon is making a comeback to the Bourne series with this one. It’s been 10 years that Jason freed himself from the agency that trained and used him as a deadly weapon. But, Robert Dewey, CIA director, brings in Heather Lee, who’s a hacker and counterinsurgency expert to find Bourne. Heather believes that Nicky Parson, a former operative is also looking for him and begins tracking both. Bourne has no choice but to get back in action to battle culprits who utilise terror and tech to maintain control and power. Runtime: 123 minutes


#2 Suicide Squad – 5th August

Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) comes up with the idea to assemble a group of supervillains for a top-secret mission. Thinking they’ve got nothing to lose, the U.S. government supports the idea by giving Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and others weapons. While Suicide Squad is out there trying to save the world they also have to deal with The Joker (Jared Leto) Runtime: 121 minutes


#3 Café Society – 12th August

Bobby Dorfman (Jesse Eisenberg) moves out of New York to make an exciting career in Hollywood in 1930s. After finding a job, Bobby falls for Vonnie (Kristen Stewart), who turns out to be his employer’s mistress. Brokenhearted and settling for friendship, Bobby comes back to Bronx and starts working at a nightclub. Things settle down after he meets a really pretty socialite but movies are not so simple, are they? Vonnie comes back in his life in the middle of all this and he starts falling for her again. It’s a Woody Allen movie. Enough said. Runtime: 96 minutes.


#4 The Space Between Us – 19th August

The first born human on Mars, Gardner Elliot, develops a friendship with Tusla, a teen from Colorado. After he comes to Earth, Elliot experiences things he’s never felt before but only knew about though books. Difficulties arise when scientists discover that Elliot’s organs can’t cope with Earth’s atmosphere. After he meets Tusla, both are on the run to find out the truth of his existence and where he belongs in the universe. Runtime: N/A


#5 Kubo and the Two Strings – 19th August

Kubo (Art Parkinson), a young kid, ends up summoning a vengeful spirit from the past accidentally. He comes together with Monkey (Charlize Theron) and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey) to reveal the legacy. Backed with a magical weapon, Kubo has to battle the Moon King (Ralph Fiennes), other Gods and monsters to save his family and to solve the mystery of his father’s death, the greatest samurai to walk the Earth. #6 Nine Lives – 19th August

A billionaire workaholic, Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) is unable to find time for his family. On his daughter’s birthday, Tom decides to get a cat from a very mysterious store. Out of nowhere, the events that take place in the pet store traps Tom in the cat’s body. He’s told by the pet store owner that he’s got one week to connect with his family or he’ll be forever trapped. Runtime: 87 minutes.  


#7 Ben-Hur – 26th August

Ben-Hur is a remake of the 1959 classic of the same name. A prince (Jack Huston) goes through years of slavery to go against his adopted brother (Toby Kebbel), a Roman officer who accused of him treason even though he was innocent. Runtime: N/A


#8 Mechanic Resurrection – 26th August

Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) is back in business to save the love of his life (Jessica Alba). The Assassin goes out of his way to kill the deadly kidnappers but before that he has to bring down a few targets for them! Runtime: N/A
