The year 2016 wrapped up in the most unfortunate way possible. The world lost two great legends in the month of December. Following the death of the iconic singer George Michael early this week, actress Carrie Fisher left us last night due to a cardiac arrest on her way from London to Los Angeles.
This untimely demise took a toll on millions of Star Wars fans around the globe while the world was still grieving over George Michael’s death.
Carrie Fisher was famous for her character called Princess Leia in the original Star Wars movies and boy; she aged gracefully owing to her role in the Episode VII of the Star Wars series. Though rumour has it that Carrie will be seen in Star Wars Episode VIII as they have already wrapped up shooting her scenes for the movie, but nothing is confirmed yet. This 60-year-old legend will be remembered profoundly.
Here’s a fun throwback video by The Ellen DeGeneres Show from last year where Carrie Fisher and Ellen herself go on the streets to sell tickets for the Star Wars Episode VII opening night. We bet that’s enough to make you fall in love with her all over again!
Quite a personality! RIP.
I just got up so it will take a few minutes for my personality to arrive.
